Account Deletion & Data Removal

At LayerOn, we value your privacy and give you full control over your personal data. This page describes how you can request the permanent deletion of your account and all associated personal information from our servers.

How to Request Account & Data Deletion

You can request the deletion of your account and data through either of the following two options:

Option 1: Instantly via the Mobile App (Recommended)

The fastest and most secure way to delete your account is directly inside the LayerOn app:

Open Profile Settings

Open the LayerOn app, go to your Profile Screen, and tap the Settings Icon in the top-right corner.

Select Delete Account

Tap on the red Delete Account option at the bottom of the settings list.

Confirm Action via OTP

Read the confirmation warnings and enter the 6-digit security OTP code sent to your registered email or phone. Your account and all associated data will be permanently removed.

Option 2: Submit a Request via Email

If you no longer have the app installed, you can submit a deletion request by sending an email to our support team:

Write to Support

Send an email to layeronai04@gmail.com from the email address associated with your LayerOn account.

Provide Username/Details

Please use the subject line "Data Deletion Request" and include your registered username or display name in the email body.

Processing Window

Our support team will process your request and permanently delete all your data within 30 days. You will receive an email confirmation once the deletion is complete.

What Data is Deleted?

When your account is deleted, the following data is permanently erased from our active databases and cloud storage:

  • Account Profile: Your username, display name, registered email address, and profile biography.
  • Avatars: Your uploaded profile pictures and model images stored in our storage buckets.
  • Virtual Try-Ons & Posts: All AI try-on history, generated output images, and public outfits/posts you shared on the community feed.
  • Interactions: All likes, ratings, comments, and rank points you earned or gave to other users.
  • Social Connections: Your friend list, sent/received friend requests, and direct messaging threads/history.
  • Device Configuration: Registered Firebase notification tokens and local configuration details.

What Data is Retained?

  • Financial Transactions: Details of transactions, credit purchases, and subscription plans are retained for up to 3 years to comply with financial accounting regulations, tax audits, and to resolve payment disputes.
  • Anonymized Logs: Aggregated, non-identifiable usage statistics may be kept to help us analyze overall app performance. This data contains no identifiers and cannot be linked back to you.

Delete Specific Data (Without Deleting Account)

If you do not want to delete your entire account, you can request or perform the removal of individual pieces of data:

  • Community Posts: You can delete any post you shared on the feed at any time directly in the app. Deleting a post removes it and all associated comments/likes instantly.
  • Chat History: You can leave or clear direct chat threads directly from your chat settings.
  • Specific Elements: If you would like to request the removal of specific historical records or images without losing your premium status or credits, email us at layeronai04@gmail.com.
